Meggie Kuypers
Meggie is a sixth-year PhD student working under the supervision of Dr. Thierry Mallevaey in the Medical Sciences Building at the University of Toronto. She has been contributing as a writer, editor, and designer to IMMpress Magazine since 2019.
Manjula Kamath
Manjula is a fourth-year PhD student in the Department of Immunology at the University of Toronto. She has been involved with IMMpress Magazine since 2021, contributing as a writer, editor, and designer before stepping into her current role as Co-Editor-in-Chief. With a longstanding passion for both science and storytelling, she is committed to making scientific ideas more engaging, creative, and accessible to a broad audience. Through her work with the magazine, she hopes to highlight the diverse voices and exciting research within the scientific community.
Design Director
Jennifer Ahn
Jennifer is a third-year PhD student in the Department of Immunology at the University of Toronto. She has been a dedicated contributor to IMMPress Magazine as a writer, designer, and senior editor. Since 2024, she has served as the magazine’s Design Director, combining her scientific curiosity with a strong passion for visual storytelling. Outside the lab, Jennifer enjoys going to life drawing classes, watching movies, and snuggling with her two cats, Neo and Pierre.

Tianning Yu
Tianning Yu is a fourth-year immunology PhD student in the laboratory of Dr. Tania Watts at University of Toronto. Outside of the lab, she enjoys skiing, K-Pop dancing and playing table tennis. You can say hi to Tianning when the IMMpress Instagram account sends you a friend request : )
